19 November 2008

- Meeting Began at 5:15pm.
- Certificates were passed out to new members of AAS.
- ARCON
- The new area staff is Colorado State University.
- ARCON will be held at the University of Wyoming
- Clarified regulations on JNP hours. There is no double dipping between AAS and ROTC.
- Yoplait Lids for the battle against breast cancer
- For every 10 lids we collect, we are awarded 1 JNP hour.
- The ETE is going to be on either the 5th or 6th of December.
- We are still planning on taking part in the Christmas project after Thanksgiving.
- AAS is also planning on traveling to the Ronald McDonald House for volunteer hours.
- The last meeting will be a recap session for the events of the semester. We will be having pizza!
- Meeting adjourned at 5:35pm.

Squadron
The Ennis C. Whitehead Squadron is located at The University of Kansas. It is part of Area VIII, the Air Pirates. The Arnold Air Society is a professional, honorary service organization advocating the support of air and space power.
The squadron is associated with AFROTC Detachment 280 and a developing Silver Wings chapter. For more information, contact C/ Ditton, L. at larry113@ku.edu.
Well, it seems things are moving smoothly to a successful conclusion of the semester with the AAS Class of Fa08’s ETE. I look forward to participating in the Christmas project and hopefully attending more meetings next semester. I probably won’t be able to help out with the Yoplait lids because a)we don’t have them here at KK Amini and b)yogurt, well, let’s just say it makes me feel bad inside so I won’t be buying any myself.
